Using the cool Curious Gothic Theatre, Curious Doll01, Digital Art Holiday01 Set
Yay…It’s December!!! Busy and hopefully fun times ahead! I love everything about this month. Family, friends, dreams and wishes.Traditions, old and new. I hope this month finds all of you happy and well. I hope you find the magic too…
This project is about a very good girl! Every year she opens her Curious Gothic Theatre so people can get a free tree!!! What a gal, her father cuts the trees, she gives them away. It works.
There are a few snowflakes falling, I hope they have hot apple cider…
Supplies from PaperWhimsy:
Curious Doll # 1
Curious Gothic Theatre
Banner-Free Trees
Digi sheet 282, used on the Theatre
236, face
Damask-01, for torso
Other supplies: Aileene’s Ultimate Glue, ModPodge, InkaGold yellowgreen, PanPastel in red, brown and yellow ochre, Green and red glitter, Round disk, round bezel, 2 ornate head pins, Mica flakes, i.e. snowflakes, Ribbon and red marker, 5 last years leftover Christmas tags, i.e. Christmas trees
Whew, lot’s of goodies in this project!!!
I started by gluing the Theatre together, I used Aileene’s for every bit of this project. Okay, I couldn’t find the Super Glue, my desk is a mess!!! I used the ModPodge to wall paper the Theatre, inside and out using Digi 282, and used the InkaGold yellowgreen to paint the other bits of the Theatre. I used the Damask “curtain 01” for her torso, and 236 for her face. I also used #282 for the trees on the outside and on the stage.
I made her scarf using a small piece of green ribbon and a red marker, because it needed red polka dots. I used all three of the PanPastel colors on the banner, and used the ModPodge and words to make the “sign”. I also used the ModPodge on the arms, 2 trees and a slew of polka dots to adhere the glitter. The mica flakes on the roof top, around the disk and edge of the bezel also went on with ModPodge. Did I mention her face going into said bezel with ModPodge? It did. I used the ornate head pins and glue for her “TA-DA!!!!” arms. All the trees, okay, and the “gift card” trees went on with the Aileene’s.
I hope you have Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year!
See you next year,
Michelle
